Launch Industry
Standards Pledge
The Institute of Kitchen,
Bedroom & Bathroom Installers has
launched an
exciting new initiative this week, spear headed by the
government's
Rt.Hon.Brian Binley MP.
The initiative, initially aimed at selected high profile retailers,
will address installation standards across the entire industry, working
with those influential brands to benefit all areas of the kitchen,
bedroom & bathroom market.
Front Bench MP Mr Binley launched the initiative by saying: "Without
change on how the KBB industry approaches installation quality,
unsatisfied customers and associated negative press will continue, which
is bad for business and in turn the economy".
The MP went onto say: "We now have a unique opportunity to work
together on installation standards, which is not only long overdue in my
opinion, but also timely".
This is a monumental development for the iKBBI and something our members should be proud of.
iKBBI Director Drew Carter went on to say: "This is an exciting
initiative, and whilst we fully understand that this won't be easy, or
even embraced by all invited to participate, it is the first and only
initiative designed to create and share a new standard by an existing
driven, experienced and KBB dedicated organisation".
